In this episode we wanted to learn a little bit more about what it takes to run TFS over the internet.

Play Now: Running TFS Over The Internet

Looking round for people to speak to we realised that we had one of the experts in this area in our co-host, Paul Hacker. So Mickey and Martin interviewed Paul to talk about what it takes to provide a hosted TFS service over the Internet, the architectures that he uses and what problems he runs into day to day.

RadioTFS is back, and with some fresh changes.  First change is, we've added a third host:  Martin Woodward.  Don't know who Martin is and want to?  Then go listen to our latest podcast, RadioTFS Show #2 - What's new in TFS 2008 and Should You Upgrade.

Next change is, the RSS feed is different.  So if you are using the old RSS feed, you won't see the new show.  Click here to get the latest RSS Feed.

Click here for a direct link to the latest show.

We are looking for feedback and for listener questions.  So if you have any feedback on the show, what you like and don't like, things you would like us to cover, anything, send that feedback to radiotfs@gmail.com.  Also, we are looking for listener questions that we can answer during the podcast.    So send those to us as well at radiotfs@gmail.com.

We are looking at trying to do this bi-monthly, but given that all three of us have hectic schedules, as well as Martin lives in another country, don't hate us if we don't hit that schedule every time.  I'm not sure what the topic of the next podcast will be, but look for it in a couple of weeks.

Paul Hacker (editor-in-chief of TFSTimes.com) and Mickey Gousset have decided to try something new.  We've created a podcast called Radio TFS where we wax eloquently (or ramble on, take your pick) about all things Team System and Team Foundation Server.  For our first edition, we talk about us a little bit, and focus a good bit on Team Build.

You'll be able to tell when you listen to it that everything is completely unscripted.  We did some minimal planning, but wanted to keep it kind of natural.  Also, we are using Skype to do this, as Paul and I live across the country from each other.  As such, my audio is a little low. We'll see what we can do to fix that at some point, but remember, this is a bootstrap operation.

The one thing I did find from this, and I think Paul will agree, is that it was a lot of fun.  Twenty minutes had passed before I realized it.  Paul and I are going to try and crank these out on at least a monthly basis, and possibly even more frequently.

So, go give the podcast a listen, and then email us and tell us what you think.  Let us know what you liked and didn't like, or any Team System topics you would like to cover in the future.  Heck, let us know if you'd be interested in being interviewed for the show.
